Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
If this can reassure you, a yoga class hopefully never starts with a full split or a wheel pose!! In fact, I think that yoga should be a go to option especially when the body feels stiff as the main goal is to relieve tensions! And when physical tensions are released, the tensions in the mind can also release. How does that sound? We find so many different types of yoga classes on the market. Some are advertised for beginners, others for advanced practitioners. I also found classes entitled “Yoga for inflexible people”, which is great. Yoga is a very wide subject and I sincerely believe that it has something for everyone and every Bodies. There is no one size fits all: there is such a variety of poses and all of them can be transformed and adapted to suit the needs of individuals. So the answer is yes, absolutely if you breathe, you can do yoga!
If you or your child is unwell (coughing, sneezing, fever) within the last 24 hours, we ask that you miss the class. If that is the case, please let us know.
Yes, especially when the class is held outdoor.
When the class is held indoor, the instructor provides all the equipment (up to 10 students) but if you prefer to use your own mat, feel free. It is best if you can notify the instructor of your intention to bring your own mat.
A water bottle (optional). Just wear comfortable clothing. Shoes should be removed and put on the side of the room away from the mats. Please refrain from watching or even keeping your mobile phone near you during the class. Yoga is an inward practice
Yoga is best enjoyed on an empty/light stomach, so eat lightly or not at all for around 2 hours before the class.
Make sure to keep hydrated by drinking water (or anything else) both before and after the class. Drinking during the class is of course allowed but not recommended.
If you have any injuries, please let the instructor know before the class. This will help her to adjust her sequence and/ or to show you modifications of some poses where necessary.
Yes. If interested in attending classes please register online on this website. Classes are payable in advance.
If you are running late for your booked class, we ask that you call or Whatsapp the studio to let us know you are on the way.
If it’s a busy period and the class is waitlisted, our staff will have the right to give your mat to walk-ins that have made it to class on time. This can and will be done at their complete discretion.
Note that if you are arriving more than 15 minutes late, the best is to skip the class. The main reason behind is safety as a complete warm up is essential for a safe practice.
Please try to give the instructor at least two-hour notice if you cannot attend the class indoors and at least twelve-hour notice if the class is held outdoors.
Cancellations can be made by Whatsapp. If you have a package, a no show or a last-minute cancellation will result in the class to be deducted from your package. If you don't have a package, a no show or a last-minute cancellation will result in the drop off class fee being due.
Packages have a time limit. This is why classes are at a discount. Please be considerate of the time limit when you choose to buy a package. Regularity is needed to make the most out of it and this does not suit everyone. Packages cannot be refunded.
The instructor reserves the right to cancel the class in the following situations: • less than 3 students are attending the class • the instructor is unwell • the weather does not allow (for outdoor classes)
If a refund amount is to be processed, it will be refunded less any applicable credit card or bank transfer fees charged by third party payment processors.
